Motor Enthusiasts

An emotional connection to a vehicle is made the moment you step into the driver's seat. It starts with the Hot Wheel on your shelf, grows as you learn to drive, and strengthens with memories, like that old photo of your grandpa. These memories form and are tied to the vehicles that made them possible. For reasons we can't quite explain, these hunks of metal hold a special place in our hearts. I grew up surrounded by these kinds of stories told by my family, friends, and neighbors - stories of how cars shape lives. Motor Enthusiasts is a memoir dedicated to those narratives that haven't been told, and ones that aren't finished yet. It's a tribute to the journeys we take and the vehicles that help define who we are along the way.
